The beginning of everything is hard. You start at zero and want to make what you think are 100% percent. Every writer knows the blinking of the cursor on an empty page, every mountaineer remembers the moment when you stand at the very feet of the mountain and feel overwhelmed by the shere hugeness of your goal, I´m pretty sure that a bird who starts his flight for his winterdomicil is also at least a bit frightend… at least I would be.
“Start by doing what`s necessary;
then do what`s possible;
and you will end up doing the impossible.”
Francis of Assisi
This is the first post on my freshly started Travelblog. But it is not only the start of a blog but also a huge help in getting started with my travel. It hopefully works just like the small step you need to take to jump of a huge cliff. Before you do this one step you are uncertain about many things. Is it to high? Is the water to shallow? Will I manage to keep my stomach pulled in for all the people watching? Once you are out in the air all this doesn`t matter any more. It’s just you who matters.
I`m currently 27 years old. I was born and raised in Munich. I have a flat, a good job, a lot of friends, a lovely family and a lot of more things you just get very used to. Leaving all this behind… it get`s you struggling if it is the right decision. So this blog (along with some other small things) are my small step of the cliff. Once I`ve done it (and by the time you read this I probably have ;)) nothing but the journey it self should matter.
